Today, my one day of the week where I got to sleep in, I woke up pretty early (of course). Since today is my last full day here (YAY!) for this "year" I had to make sure the house was clean for my new roomies to arrive while I'm back in the States.... I found myself bleaching the random spots on our white tile floor, sweeping the ENTIRE house, and following it up with a good mopping. Whoever thought to put white tile floors in the WHOLE house................ Well, let's just say, I have some words for that person. I don't think it's POSSIBLE to get white floors clean. You know those magazines and pictures that have houses with all white EVERYTHING? Well, those are completely redone.... There is NO possible way to keep everything white. I think it would be great if I never see white tile ever again in my entire life.
So that's my morning so far.....
As for the rest of my week, nothing too terribly interesting has happened, except for our Christmas program at school yesterday morning...
Hmm... Now, THAT was something to see. Twenty-four little kids + 1 "organized" show + A large group of parents and extended families with cameras = Laughter and fun for everyone. Seriously, you should SEE some of these parents with their cameras. I'm sure there were a couple elbows being thrown, whether you would believe it or not. I wouldn't have been surprised to see a WWF smackdown in the front of the church between two parents who were attempting to take pictures of their darling child dressed up as a Christmas tree or present or whatever.... My advice to all those out there who are reading: Don't ever stand in the way of a parent and their child when the kid is dressed up like a reindeer.
